Staying at the Oakland Marriott City Center was a pleasant experience overall. the location was convenient, with the BART Subway System just across the street, providing easy access to downtown San Francisco. The room was comfortable, featuring soundproof windows that offered a peaceful retreat in the bustling city center. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process even though I arrived early in the morning. the restaurant on-site served delicious dishes made with regional ingredients, offering a delightful dining experience. While there were minor issues with the initial room, the management promptly addressed them and moved me to a room with a beautiful view and a King size bed. the lack of follow-up regarding the reported bites was a slight disappointment, but it did not overshadow the overall positive experience. Overall, the Oakland Marriott City Center provided a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of Oakland. I would recommend it to travelers looking for a chic and welcoming hotel with easy access to attractions and amenities in the area.
